CAREER SUMMARY
PRE-DEBUT
Jongho became a trainee of TOP MEDIA in 2013. He left TOP MEDIA and became a trainee of KQ Entertainment in 2017.
Pre-debut, a clip of Jongho in his high school uniform, singing high notes and cracking apples with his bare hands, went viral on Facebook.
In 2017, Jongho participated as one of the contestants on the survival audition program produced by YG Entertainment, MIX NINE. He was eliminated on the second round of eliminations (episode 10).
Jongho trained for 5.5 years before his debut. His training period is the longest in the team, despite being the youngest member of the group.
AFTER DEBUT
In 2018, Jongho debuted as a member of ATEEZ, an 8-member group under KQ Entertainment, with Seonghwa, Hongjoong, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, and Wooyoung. Upon debut, he received attention for his vocal skills and powerful high notes.
In 2021, Jongho made his acting debut on the KBS2 drama Imitation, as a member of a fictional K-Pop boy group.
Jongho ventured into a variety of solo activities as a skilled vocalist. In 2021, Jongho appeared as a guest on Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook on his own, covering “One Late Night in 1994.” In 2022, Jongho was a contestant on an episode of King of Masked Singer. In 2023, Jongho was a contestant on Immortal Songs.
Jongho has released several OSTs - most notably “Gravity” from Reborn Rich and “Wind” from Our Blooming Youth.
In 2023, Jongho has released “Everything,” a solo track released as a b-side track of ATEEZ album, THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL.

VOCAL
Jongho is the main vocal of ATEEZ and one of the most powerful vocalists among 4th-generation boy groups.
Jongho is known for having a strong and clear belting voice in high ranges, going up to supported B5. He has shown his vocal abilities in many vocal-based competitive shows such as KINGDOM: LEGENDARY WAR and Immortal Song,appearing in the special episode for “Heavenly High Note Masters Special Part.2” for the latter with veteran K-Ballad singers. Jongho’s vocals have been compared to revered ballad/rock ballad singers such as Lim Han Byeol and Lee Hong-Gi.
