CAREER SUMMARY
PRE-DEBUT
Yunho attended the same dance academy with Mingi, where they became friends prior to debut. In 2015, Yunho made an appearance as an extra on the music video for miss A’s “Only You” with Mingi.
In March of 2016, Yunho became a trainee of KQ Entertainment. He was the second trainee of KQ Entertainment, joining the first-ever trainee Hongjoong who had been training for six months. Mingi joined KQ Entertainment as a trainee soon after.
In 2017, Yunho participated in the preliminary auditions for the survival audition program produced by YG Entertainment, MIX NINE, but did not make it past the audition rounds. In 2018, Yunho appeared on a video of Rothy - “Stars” on the dingo music channel.
Yunho was a trainee for two years and eight months before his debut.
AFTER DEBUT
In 2018, Yunho debuted as a member of ATEEZ, an 8-member group under KQ Entertainment, with Seonghwa, Hongjoong, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho. Upon debut, he received attention for his visual, dance skills, and stable live vocals.
In 2021, Yunho made his acting debut on the KBS2 drama Imitation, playing a **major role as Lee Yujin, main vocal and center of the fictional idol group SPARKLING.
Yunho was a regular DJ of IDOL RADIO 3 with Hongjoong from September 2022 to December 2023.

VOCAL
Yunho is the unofficial “opening fairy” of ATEEZ, mostly taking the first verses of ATEEZ songs. Yunho has a naturally lower voice tone, but he has a wide vocal range and can hit high notes and use falsetto. After the promotions for “ANSWER,” Yunho has been singing the chorus of ATEEZ title songs more.
DANCE
Yunho is one of the four main dancers of ATEEZ, and is often regarded as one of the best dancers of the team. Yunho often leads the formation of ATEEZ choreographies on stage. His execution has often been called the most “textbook” version of the choreography. Yunho is often at the center of ATEEZ dance breaks which are often placed at the last 30 seconds of the songs. Even though he is the tallest member of the team at 186cm, his body control and overall strength have been praised.
