Album Sales

  • ENHYPEN’s debut album, BORDER : DAY ONE set the record of the third-highest sales of a debut album within the first week of release by a K-Pop boy group at the time, selling more than 280k copies within the first week of release.
  • DIMENSION : DILEMMA the first ENHYPEN album to become a million-seller; selling more than 818k copies within the first week of release and hitting more than 1.1 million within the month of release.
  • In 2022, ENHYPEN became the fifth K-Pop group to sell a million albums within the first week of release with MANIFESTO : DAY 1.
    • MANIFESTO : DAY 1 sold 1.24 million copies within the first week of release.
  • In 2023, their 4th and 5th mini albums, DARK BLOOD and ORANGE BLOOD, both sold more than a million copies within the first week of release.
    • DARK BLOOD sold 1.32 million copies within the first week of release.
    • ORANGE BLOOD sold 1.87 million copies within the first week of release.
  • In 2022, ENHYPEN sold more than 1 million copies of their albums in Japan (ORICON album sales), and became the first idol group that debuted in 2020 to sell more than a millon copies in the country within a year.

Charts

  • On August 8th, 2022, ENHYPEN became the fastest K-Pop boy group in history to chart within the 20th place on the Billboard 200, a year and eight months after debut.
    • As of May 2024, ENHYPEN has charted 5 albums in total on the Billboard 200, with DARK BLOODspending 10 weeks on the chart and peaking at no.4.
  • On June 23rd, 2022, ENHYPEN became the fastest Korean artist at the time to hit 1 billion streams on Spotify, only a year and six months after debut.
    • On January 24th, 2023, ENHYPEN became the fastest Korean artist at the time to hit 1.5 billion streams on Spotify.
    • On July 11th, 2023, ENHYPEN became the fastest Korean artist at the time to hit 2 billion streams on Spotify.
    • On March 11th, 2024, ENHYPEN’s monthly listeners on Spotify hit 10 million.
    • On March 12th, 2024, ENHYPEN became the fastest Korean boy group to accumulate more than 3 billion streams on Spotify.

Awards

  • ENHYPEN has won several rookie awards upon their debut in award shows such as: The 35th Golden Disc Awards, The 10th Gaon Chart Music Awards, 2020 Seoul Music Awards, 2021 Asia Artist Awards, and MAMA Awards.
  • ENHYPEN’s first Bonsang (major award) was with DIMENSION : DILEMMA at the 36th Golden Disc Awards.
    • ENHYPEN received the same Bonsang for two more years in the 37th and the 37th Golden Disc Awards, with Manifesto : Day 1 and Dark Blood, respectively.

Other

  • In September 2023, ENHYPEN became the fastest K-Pop boy group to perform at the Tokyo Dome after debut, with their 2nd world tour, FATE.
  • ENHYPEN has the second highest number of followers on Weverse after BTS: more than a 9.3 million followers as of April 2024.

MEMBER STATS

Vocals

  • ENHYPEN have been generally praised for their vocal skills and stability during live performances with difficult choreographies.
    • Their distinctive vocal tones especially shine through in their b-sides such as “SHOUT OUT,” “Polaroid Love,” and “ParadoXXX Invasion” which tend to be more mellow and melody-driven than their title tracks.
    • Heeseung in particular has been praised for his vocal skills and is often considered to be the unofficial “main vocal” of ENHYPEN.

Dance

  • ENHYPEN is known for having difficult, highly-synchronized choreographies. All of the members are considered to be skillfull dancers.
    • They are known for their complicated dance breaks on the year-end special stages, which have been dubbed “year-end-ypen” (연말이픈).
    • Ni-ki in particular has been praised for his dancing skills and is often considered to be the unofficial “main dancer” of ENHYPEN.

Rap

  • Even though most ENHYPEN tracks do not have rap verses, ENHYPEN have shown their rap skills in cover stages and during their pre-debut survival audition program, I-LAND.
    • There are no official/designated rappers in ENHYPEN, even though Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, and Ni-ki would mostly take over the rap verses.

Visual

  • The members of ENHYPEN have been generally praised for their visuals; they are thought of having the visuals fitting of their aristocratic vampire concept.
    • There are no official “visual” or “center” members in ENHYPEN.
