MANAGEMENT AND FORMATION
- ITZY debuted with huge anticipation from the general public and K-Pop fans, as being the girl group to succeed the famous line of “JYP Girl Groups,” after Wonder Girls, Miss A, and TWICE.
- Yeji, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna all had considerable pre-debut media exposure; through Stray Kids(Yeji, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, Yuna), SIXTEEN (Chaeryeong), MIX NINE (Ryujin), and music video for BTS - “LOVE YOURSELF” (Ryujin, Yuna).
- Lia was the only member that had been a hidden trainee until the first debut teaser dropped in January 2019.
- The members have become trainees of JYP Entertainment in the chronological order below (from first to last):
- Chaeryeong - Ryujin - Yeji - Yuna - Lia
- ITZY is managed by Division 2 (2본부) under JYP Entertainment, the sole artist under the division at present.
WDZY
- In September of 2020, ITZY released their official character IP, WDZY (pronounced with-zy) in collaboration with Line Friends.

- In December of 2013, ITZY released their official character IP, TWINZY, before embarking on their second world tour, <BORN TO BE>.

MISCELLANEOUS TRIVIA
- All of the members’ stage names are same as their given names, except for Lia.
- Lia’s stage name is from her English name, Julia.
- All five of the members are Korean, born and raised in Korea.
- However, the members are generally fluent in English; Lia, who had lived in Canada for three years, and Ryujin, in particular.
- All five of the members have grown up in a city that’s different from the one that they were born in.
- Yeji: born in Seoul, raised in Jeonju
- Lia: born in Bucheon, rasied in Incheon / Canada / Jeju
- Ryujin: born in Chuncheon, raised in Seoul
- Chaeryeong: born in Nonsan, raised in Yongin
- Yuna: born in Wonju, raised in Suwon
- In 2022, ITZY was the opening act for IU’s concert <The Golden Hour>, performing “Sneakers” and “Dalla Dalla.”
- The members each received a handwritten letter and a designer bag that matched their individual personalities from IU herself.
