CAREER SUMMARY
PRE-DEBUT
Felix was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. His first language is English. He learend taekwondo for 12 years in Australia, and this has led him to receive a lot of choreography with spin kicks.
Felix got a message online from JYP Entertainment when he was in Australia, but he decided to finish his studies before becoming a trainee. He joined JYP Entertainment as a trainee in 2017, when he was 16 years old. After just six months of training, Felix was chosen as one of the debut team to participate in the survival audition program Stray Kids.
In episode 8, Felix was eliminated from the debut team because of his weak Korean skills, but in the live broadcast he received one last chance to join the team again through the votes by fans. 96% of the fans had wanted him and Lee Know (the other eliminated member) to join the team again - in the end, Felix was chosen as one of the final members to debut as Stray Kids. Felix was a trainee for a year and a month before debut.
AFTER DEBUT
In 2018, Felix debuted as a member of Stray Kids, an 8-member group under JYP Entertainment, with Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Seungmin, and I.N with “District 9.” Felix has received attention for his cute visuals and deep voice. He gets a lot of “killing parts” as his voice is very distinctive; Felix’s deep voice has become something of a trademark of Stray Kids’ music. Felix even had an ASMR series on the official Stray Kids YouTube channel.
Felix was the official MC of arirangTV’s Pops in Seoul from July 2019 to January 2020, with segments such as “Dance How To” and “K-Pop insider,” carried almost entirely in English.
In 2022, Felix was featured in Nayeon’s solo album, on the track “NO PROBLEM.” In 2023, Felix made an appearance in the music video for NiziU’s “HEARTRIS” as the male lead.
In August 2023, Felix was chosen as the global house ambassador of Louis Vuitton.

VOCAL
Even though Felix is mostly known for his deep voice on his rap verses or singing rap verses, he can also sing with a higher, softer voice. Even though he rarely gets vocal parts in Stray Kids title tracks, he has released covers and solo tracks where he has shown his singing abilities. Felix has had some vocal parts in Stray Kids songs such as “24 to 25,” “Winter Falls,” “5-star,” and “Cover Me.” His range is shown in his solo release, “Deep end,” where he makes use of both of his deep and higher tones.
RAP
Rather than doing fast, complicated raps like the other rappers of the team, Felix mostly gets the iconic “killing parts” in Stray Kids’ title tracks that have gone viral. His deep voice is called the “thunderous tone” or “cave tone,” fitting the rebellious, edgy concept of Stray Kids’ discography.

DANCE
As part of the sub-unit DANCERACHA, Felix is one of the stronger dancers of the team. His style of dancing is clean and crisp. Even though he is slender with a leaner frame than most of the members, he has a lot of energy when dancing. He has taken over a lot of the acrobatic and more difficult moves that makes use of his power. Because Felix sings a lot of the killing parts of the chorus, he is in the center for some of the most popular segments of Stray Kids’ hits.
