PRE-DEBUT

Han was born in Korea, and lived in Korea until he was young. However, he did not fit in very well at the school and was homeschooled. All of his qualifications, from elementary school to high school, are from homeschooling and Korean GED.

After getting his high school diploma through GED, Han started preparing for auditions to become a K-Pop artist. Han had promised to his parents to go back to Malaysia and attend college if he did not get a callback from an audition within a year. Han enrolled in an audition academy in South Korea. In just three months, Han became a trainee of JYP Entertainment through a single audition.

After becoming a trainee of JYP Entertainment, he became part of the hip-hop producing sub-unit 3RACHA with Bang Chan and Han, writing and producing their own music and putting the songs online.
