FANDOM NAME MEANING

The fandom name “STAY” originates from the group’s official slogan, “Where Stray Kids STAY,” meaning a place for people who “stray” to “stay.” Alternatively, taking the letter “r” out of the English word “Stray” makes it “Stay” - “r” is short for “reason,” as “STAY is the reason for Stray Kids’ existence.”

OFFICIAL LIGHTSTICK

The design for Stray Kids’ official lightstick was officially announced on November 16th, 2019. Stray Kids’ official lightstick has been made available for purchase on November 23rd, 2019, as part of the official merch for Stray Kids’ first world tour <District 9 : Unlock>.

LIGHTSTICK NAME

NACHIMBONG (나침봉)
pronounced “NA-CHIM-BONG”

The official name for Stray Kids’ lightstick has never been announced; however, the lighstick is widely called NACHIMBONG for the red compass within the glass orb on top of the lightstick. “NACHIM” originates from the Korean word “nachimban,” which means compass.
