3RACHA is an official producing sub-unit of Stray Kids; the three members, Bangchan, Changbin, and Han have produced most of Stray Kids’ songs. The sub-unit has been formed before the official debut of Stray Kids.

Prior to debut as Stray Kids, 3RACHA have produced rap songs and mixtapes together and uploaded them online on platforms such as YouTube and Soundcloud.

The sub-unit name, “3RACHA” is a play on the hot sauce brand “sriracha.” Alternatively, the name also combines “three members” (3) and “racha” which means a “gust of wind” in Spanish, signifying that the three members will be a strong wind blowing through the entertainment industry.

In 2023, all three of the members have become official members of the Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA).

They also received the “Best Creators Award” for the 2023 Asia Artist Awards.

The members have separate rap names for their 3RACHA activities. The names are as follows:

  • CB97 (Bang Chan) : Initials of his given name (Christopher Bang) + year of his birth (1997)
  • SPEARB (Changbin) : First letter of his name (”chang”) means “spear” in English + B standing for “bin”
  • J.ONE (Han) : First letter of his given name (“Jisung”) + pun on his last name (”Han” means “one” in Korean)

DANCERACHA

DANCERACHA is an unofficial sub-unit of Stray Kids, composed of Lee know, Hyunjin, and Felix. The three members have released two songs together within Stray Kids albums - “Wow” (IN生) and “Taste” (MAXIDENT).

In 2022, the members of Stray Kids have said that the DANCERACHA unit is the “VISUALRACHA” of Stray Kids.

VOCALRACHA

VOCALRACHA is an unofficial sub-unit of Stray Kids, composed of Seungmin and I.N. The three members have released two songs together within Stray Kids albums - “MY UNIVERSE” (IN生) and “Can’t Stop” (MAXIDENT).

The two have also covered “That’s okay” by D.O. (EXO) in the 2023 SBS Gayo Daejeon.
